CHARTER POLICIES

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation: If you need to cancel your charter, please provide at least 14 days’ notice. We will work with you to reschedule your trip or cancel it entirely.

Refunds: Deposits are fully refundable if canceled at least 14 days prior to your charter date. After this period, deposits become non-refundable, except under certain circumstances.

Balance Due: The remaining balance is due prior to the trip. Cash is appreciated.

Weather Policy

We operate rain or shine, with all weather-related cancellations determined at the Captain’s discretion.

Weather Cancellations: We monitor weather conditions closely and will notify you as soon as possible if unsafe conditions require us to cancel.

Rescheduling: Open dates are held throughout the season to accommodate rescheduling. If rescheduling isn’t possible, a refund will be offered.

For any questions, feel free to email us. The Captain reserves the right to make final decisions regarding weather cancellations or adjustments for everyone’s safety.

Alcohol & Drug Policy

Drugs: All drugs, including marijuana, are prohibited. State laws do not apply on the ocean, as it falls under federal jurisdiction.

Alcohol: Light alcohol consumption is permitted. Beer and wine are allowed, but hard liquor is prohibited.

Responsibility: Please drink responsibly to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip for everyone on board.

Tuna Policy

Giant Tuna (Commercial Day): If we land a giant tuna on a commercial day, it becomes the property of the boat per NMFS regulations. The fish can only be sold by a federally permitted vessel to a federally permitted buyer.

•You will receive 10% of the sale (after fuel costs) up to a maximum of $1,200, applied to a future trip.

Giant Tuna (Non-Commercial Day): If we land a giant tuna on a non-commercial day, we will do our best to get pictures before releasing the fish.

Recreational Tuna: If we land a tuna under 73 inches (pending quota restrictions), it can be processed and taken home.

Passenger Limit

By U.S. Coast Guard regulations, a maximum of 6 passengers are allowed per boat. For comfort, we recommend limiting groups to 4 passengers.

What to Bring

Clothing: Wear waterproof shoes or boots and dress in layers. It’s often cooler on the water. Bring a coat, hat, and rain gear to stay comfortable.

Essentials: Don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses, a camera, and a cooler if needed. Ice will be provided on board.

Food & Drink: Bring your favorite food and beverages.

For Children: Children under 12 must bring a Type 1 USCG-approved child life jacket (we provide all adult safety gear).

Be prepared and enjoy your time on the water!

Food & Beverage Policy

Bring Your Own: Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. Please pack enough for the day.

Alcohol: Beer and wine are allowed, but hard liquor is prohibited due to insurance requirements.

Coolers & Ice: We provide cooler space and ice on board, but you may bring your own cooler. Space is limited.

Please note, we do not supply food or beverages.

Seasickness

If you think you might get seasick, consult your doctor about a seasickness patch, which is worn behind the ear and is highly effective. While Dramamine can help, it often causes drowsiness, which may lead you to miss out on the fun.

Gratuity

A gratuity of 15-20% is customary. Thank you for your generosity!

If bad weather forces a cancellation (Captain's decision made at the dock) deposit will be applied to another day. If another day can’t be scheduled this season, the deposit will be applied to the next season.

We go out rain or shine and weather cancellations are at the Captains’ discretion.

We will monitor the weather closely and if we must cancel your trip we will know ahead of departure and do our very best to give you as much notice as possible. We will keep open dates available throughout the season to reschedule.
If the weather is bad, the charter will be rescheduled. If not able to reschedule the Captain will offer a refund less processing fees. For any questions please email.
The captain reserves the right to cancel for bad weather. In the event of a cancellation the trip will be rescheduled.
Should poor weather develop, full-day offshore sport fishing charter may be downgraded to full-day inshore, full day inshore will be downgraded to half-day inshore, etc…

All drugs are prohibited – including marijuana. Any state laws are not applicable as the ocean is under federal jurisdiction. We allow light consumption of alcohol. No hard liquor or drugs allowed.

Customers are welcome to bring beer or wine. Hard Liquor is strictly prohibited. Drugs are strictly prohibited.
Feel free to bring your favorite alcohol beverage but please drink responsibly

If we do land a giant tuna during the commercial season, the charterers will get 10% off their next trip.

Yes, on a boat they are called a head.

Yes there is parking for $10

6 Passengers are allowed by law per boat. This is regulated by the US Coast Guard.

No, you are covered under my charter boat’s fishing license

Waterproof shoes/boots. LAYERS, coat, hat, WATER, children under 12 need to bring a Type 1 USCG Approved Child Life Jacket. We have all the safety gear for adults. Suggestions – sweatshirt, rain gear, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, camera, food, beverage, a cooler. Ice is available aboard if needed
Dress in layers. It can get cold and/or wet. And then hot and/ or dry.

We include ice, bait, rods, and reels — but you’re welcome to bring your own gear

Bring your own food and beverages. Beer and Wine are welcome but no hard liquor as per insurance requirements. You may bring a cooler if you would like to keep items chilled. We do not supply any food or beverage.
Please bring enough snacks, food, and beverages for the day.
